F-One Bandit 6 (2013) Hot
Based on the stand alone patented Delta design, the Bandit 6 fits perfectly in the Bandit stellar line-up. Its complex and demanding performance criteria were respected in each aspect and for every kiteboarding discipline. This allowed us to maintain the qualities previously acquired while implementing new ones. Improvements do not uniquely concern big changes in design, they also concern details. The fine tuning of those details, sometimes invisible to the eye, has a massive influence on the feeling that we get when riding.

I like the kite for low wind 10 to 18 knots for freestyle, wakestyle, wave, and freeride and school.
- Light Wind
At first the manufacturing and finition meets the highest standards of F-One Kiteboarding. Nothing to envy to the "German connection". The nice graphic improvements will surely meet a wide range of kiteboarders. Not as "gangsta-bling-bling" stylish as the B2, but also not as "Vuarnet-sweatshirt-après-ski" oriented as seen on the B5. The B6 offers a balanced combination of colors and graphics that keeps on the "Bandit style" that we all liked over the years, without being too flashy.
I tried the 2013 9m B6 on hard-packed variable to soft snow on a lake with islands and relief to play around. Even with a leading edge that is a bit reduced in volume, the overall structure of this delta shaped kite is very solid. The kite has gained some gust stability and is realy playful. The refinements achieved on the Bandit over the years results in a Plug-and-play kite that you instantly forget the minute you lift it up. Sucks up gusts, remains always predictable, turns really fast, relaunches like a charm, good hang time and lift. Found it very easy to unhook. It handlepasses like nothing. This still is a quite nervous and powerful kite. Kiteloops were very friendly but still powerful, giving it the right timing, witch is not hard to achieve since the feedback on the bar is very acceptable. Shines on the high-end, is OK on the low-end. I'm proud to say that I own a crazy machine that will never give up and backstall in the surf, since the aerodynamic profile is almost perfect. I've seen a lot of kites, but never I thought an all around performer like the F-One Bandit 6 would ever come to reality. Amazing for everything. This is a "state of the art" flying bomb. Spread the word, the F-One Bandit legacy has been honored with the 2013 B6.
GOOD: overall quality (manufacturing, design/aerodynamic knowledge are undeniable, R/D made a lot of good work in the last 3 years)
Plug-and-play feel to expect in every discipline, hard to beat overall performance.
LESS GOOD: The bar would benefit of a swivel to ease the riding after multiple rotations, and a deflation valve has been added on the middle strut. Since it's a classic One-pump kite I dont see the point.
