A Stand Out Light wind Kite
Ive used this kite for 8 months now and changed from the older version. It was hard to get one as they were sold out on release and there was a 2 month waiting list. I almost cancelled but glad I didn't. The fat lady is everything that I wanted in a light wind kite. Its lots of fun from 11-12knots but kiteable from 8knots (on the right board & i'm 80kgs) . It gets me out on those sunny days when the water is flat on a bigger board. The bar pressure is more than my 12m Neo , but the uni-bar by blade has a slight angle which definitely helps me not to get tired.
It's 3 strut and lightly built. However I'm still giving it 10 for construction as it needs to be light in weight to stay up in the marginal winds ive been using it for. Too heavy and it needs more wind. After a lot of crashes everything is still in tip top shape with not canopy stretch or obvious signs of wear.
When it hits 11-12knots I can use a small board and the pop is incredible for something that is billed as a light wind toy. This kite gives me more pop than my other kites by a long way and when boosting although you don't go that high in light winds , the float more than makes up for that.
Over all its my favourite kite yet and i'm giving serious consideration into buying blade triggers to go with it.
